The 24-hour Mega Swim is organised by the Rotary Club of Werribee in conjunction with the MS Ltd NSW/VIC “Go for Gold “Scholarship Program. Their aim is to raise $50,000 through team sponsorship and donations, to assist people living with Multiple Sclerosis.

For the participants, the swim was a chance to take part in an exciting team challenge while contributing to a great cause.
For ASRR students, the swim was chance to experience a community event, gain marketing skills and sharing our passion of reflexology to the greater community via providing a service to the participants and supporters of the day. It was also our opportunity to give.

This was my first experience participating in the 24 hour Mega Swim in Werribee for people living with multiple sclerosis, as a volunteer student reflexologist.

For me, the opportunity to participate in the Mega Swim was an empowering experience, bringing together all that I had learnt over the past two years. Working along side my colleagues from ASRR, we put our hands to work. Twenty minutes sessions were offered to all participants in the Mega Swim. We also had the privilege of working on a couple of people living with MS. What a heart warming and humbling experience.

Thank you to Lyn Fava and ASRR for organizing this memorable opportunity.
